How We Calculate This
This calculator determines the number of edging pieces, fixings, and concrete needed for your path.
Total length
Total edging = Path length × sides. For both sides, double the path length. Wastage factor adds extra for cuts and joins.
Edging types
- Concrete kerb: 910mm pieces bedded on concrete haunch
- Brick: 215mm bricks bedded on concrete
- Metal pin: 2.4m strips fixed with ground pegs
- Timber: 2.4m boards fixed with wooden pegs
